CVE-2026-81528 is a NoSQL injection vulnerability in the MongoDB C# Driver document-replacement path. This path omits the element-name and document-shape validation applied by equivalent write operations. Consequently, an untrusted, loosely typed value supplied as a replacement document can retain MongoDB query-language special elements and be interpreted by the server as update logic rather than inert document data. MongoDB C# Driver versions 2.10.0 through 3.11.0 are affected. Applications using strongly typed document mappings are not affected.
