CVE-2026-82078 is a critical unsafe dynamic class-loading vulnerability in the database connection utilities of PaperCut MF and PaperCut NG. The application instantiates Java database-driver classes based on configurable driver names without restricting those names to an approved allowlist. An attacker able to manipulate the relevant configuration can cause an arbitrary class already available on the PaperCut application classpath to be loaded and executed in the PaperCut server process context. The flaw is remotely exploitable and may be chained with CVE-2026-81578 to obtain unauthenticated remote code execution.

A CVSS 9.4 unsafe dynamic Java class-loading vulnerability in PaperCut database connection utilities. Manipulation of configuration parameters can cause arbitrary Java bytecode already on the application classpath to execute as the PaperCut server process. It can be chained with CVE-2026-81578 for unauthenticated remote code execution.
A CVSS 9.4 unsafe dynamic class-loading flaw in PaperCut MF and NG database connection utilities. Configurable database-driver names are instantiated without an allowlist, enabling arbitrary Java code execution when chained with the authentication-bypass flaw.
A high-severity vulnerability affecting PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF print-management software. PaperCut reported confirmed customer incidents and active exploitation by cybercriminals.
A critical unsafe dynamic class-loading flaw in PaperCut MF and PaperCut NG database connection utilities. Manipulation of system configuration parameters can cause the PaperCut server to instantiate arbitrary database-driver classes present on its classpath, enabling arbitrary Java bytecode execution in the PaperCut server process context.
