The flaw is a heap-based buffer overflow, also associated with CWE-908 (Use of Uninitialized Resource). A low-privileged attacker able to execute code within an AppContainer can exploit the vulnerability to escape the AppContainer sandbox and elevate privileges on the affected Windows system.
