A low-privileged local attacker can elevate permissions on a vulnerable server without user interaction. The underlying technical flaw has not been publicly disclosed. Affected versions are cPanel & WHM plugin builds earlier than 1.9.3.1021 and Plesk extension builds earlier than 1.8.11.638.
