CVE-2026-91765 is an uncontrolled-recursion vulnerability in PHP's SOAP extension. The SOAP XML parser function cleanup_xml_node() recurses once for each XML nesting level without enforcing a depth limit. Related unbounded recursion is also present in the SOAP value decoder and WSDL node-search helper. A deeply nested SOAP XML document can therefore exhaust the process stack.

An important unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability in PHP's SOAP XML parsing and related SOAP/WSDL helpers. Excessively nested XML elements trigger unbounded recursion, allowing remote stack exhaustion and process crashes at SoapServer endpoints.
