CVE-2026-9330 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the SAML Web Single Sign-On component of IBM WebSphere Application Server traditional 8.5 and 9.0. The component deserializes user-controlled Java object data supplied through the SAML SSO flow. Its intended integrity protection can be bypassed because the digest construction mishandles immutable Java strings, permitting an attacker to forge a serialized client-side request value. A suitable Java gadget chain available on the target classpath can then be triggered during deserialization to execute code.
