CVE-2026-94266 is an information-disclosure vulnerability affecting curl and libcurl versions 7.62.0 through 8.22.0. Credentials obtained from netrc credential files can inadvertently appear in the URL returned by curl_easy_getinfo() with CURLINFO_EFFECTIVE_URL or emitted through the command-line url_effective output variable. This can occur even when neither the application-supplied URL nor the redirected URL contains credentials, exposing passwords through application output or logging.
