CVE-2026-94545 is a critical improper-output-escaping vulnerability in the Node.js implementation of Next.js ImageResponse. It affects Next.js versions 16.2.0 through 16.3.5. The underlying Satori rendering component permits certain values to reach generated SVG elements, attributes, or CSS styles without proper escaping. Attacker-supplied content can consequently be interpreted as SVG markup rather than inert text during server-side image generation, potentially resulting in server-side code execution through downstream image-rendering behavior. The Edge ImageResponse implementation and Next.js 15 are not affected.

A critical unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the Node.js implementation of Next.js ImageResponse (next/og). It can be triggered when attacker-controlled data is embedded in SVG elements, attributes, or styles during server-side image generation.
A critical Next.js ImageResponse vulnerability caused by improper escaping in the bundled Satori SVG-generation library. In affected Node.js-runtime deployments, attacker-controlled values incorporated into SVG content, attributes, or styles may be interpreted as SVG code and reach downstream dependency vulnerabilities, enabling server-side code execution.
