UAC-0210 is a threat actor tracked for operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine using malicious Android applications to collect sensitive military information. The group has been publicly associated with a campaign that delivered trojanized Android apps through Signal messages in order to steal application credentials, session data, contacts, and device geolocation, including GPS coordinates that could be used to support kinetic targeting of Ukrainian personnel. Reported tooling in this activity included Android malware referred to as GRISELDA and Eyes, with use of Hydra-derived functionality for credential and session theft. The actor’s tradecraft demonstrates mobile-focused initial access, credential theft, session hijacking, surveillance, and data exfiltration in support of wartime targeting.
