DDoSia is a pro-Russian hacktivist threat group associated with distributed denial-of-service operations against public-sector and critical-infrastructure targets. The group has been observed conducting high-volume disruptive campaigns rather than intrusion-focused espionage or financially motivated activity. Reported activity includes repeated attacks against Belgian government entities and provincial institutions, as part of a broader wave of more than 1,200 DDoS attacks targeting Belgian critical infrastructure in December 2025. DDoSia’s known behavior in this reporting is centered on service disruption through repeated denial-of-service attacks. No high-confidence evidence is available here linking the group to ransomware, data theft, credential theft, or other post-compromise tradecraft.
