The group has maintained an online propaganda presence on fringe platforms and has been linked to extremist messaging that urges violence and promotes accelerationist doctrine. The organization has demonstrated transnational reach. Reporting ties it to activity in the United States and Europe, including an Italian member who translated propaganda and formed a local cell, and a UK case in which an individual who joined The Base allegedly planned an attack on a synagogue. The Base has also been linked to eco-fascist offshoot activity through the Green Brigade, described as its eco-fascist wing, which claimed responsibility for an arson attack against a Swedish mink farm in 2020.
