Yiqun Data is a Chinese-language cybercrime data broker presence that emerged on Telegram in March 2025. It has advertised purportedly stolen datasets and initially promoted services including website penetration testing, privilege escalation, domestic and international database dumps, software development, remote device control, and system development and deployment. In January 2026, it advertised a large dataset allegedly related to bonds, mutual funds, and foreign exchange from a Gulf bank. Available reporting indicates that Yiqun Data is part of a broader Chinese-language ecosystem that markets high-volume alleged breach data, much of which appears to be fabricated, recombined, or repackaged from older public leaks rather than obtained through fresh compromises. Analysis of Yiqun Data sample records found inconsistencies consistent with synthetic or recycled data, including combinations of personal details and passwords drawn from unrelated historical leaks. This places the actor more credibly in the category of data reseller or fraud-oriented broker than a verified intrusion operator. Yiqun Data is associated with Telegram-based advertising and claims spanning financial-sector data and offensive cyber services. High-confidence evidence supports its role in marketing alleged stolen information and related access-oriented services, but does not substantiate specific successful intrusions attributable to the actor. No corroborated sub-groups or widely used aliases beyond Yiqun Data are established from the available information.
