SQLRCE0 is a cybercriminal actor and Telegram-based distributor associated with the leaked Flying Eagle Android malware ecosystem and the introduction of the successor platform Night Dragon (夜龙). The actor emerged in early 2026 as one of the first known channels to circulate Flying Eagle-related files after the theft and public spread of the framework’s source code and associated customer data. SQLRCE0 publicly claimed to repair defects in the leaked codebase, including connectivity, WebSocket stability, and anti-uninstall functionality, indicating hands-on access to and modification of the malware framework. The actor is linked to Android malware operations centered on malicious application deployment, command-and-control management, and credential harvesting through phishing overlays. Flying Eagle supports generation of signed malicious APKs with customizable lures and branding, while Night Dragon was presented by SQLRCE0 as an independently developed successor rather than a simple rebrand. Night Dragon reportedly added black-screen fake-update functionality, automatic icon hiding after installation, and overlays designed to steal credentials from Chinese banking, payment, and cryptocurrency wallet applications. Operationally, SQLRCE0 appears to function as a malware developer or maintainer within a broader criminal ecosystem rather than solely as an end-user operator. The actor’s activity is consistent with financially motivated Android fraud and credential theft targeting Chinese users and services. Known associated malware names include Flying Eagle (飞鹰) and Night Dragon (夜龙).
