Evi-Crypto is a malware-as-a-service cryptocurrency drainer operation focused on the TON ecosystem. It has been identified as Group-582 and is associated with a Telegram-centered affiliate ecosystem used to market the service, distribute fraud guidance, and support operators. The operation used a lure branded as “TON SPIN,” presenting a prize-wheel theme to entice victims into interacting with a TonConnect-based drainer. The drainer logic was implemented in obfuscated JavaScript. The group’s operating model indicates financially motivated cybercrime rather than espionage. Its infrastructure and tradecraft show use of Telegram-linked operational components and affiliate enablement channels, including a payment-proof channel, fraud manuals, and a paid training or academy offering. This structure is consistent with a scalable criminal service model in which operators or affiliates are onboarded and supported through Telegram communities. High-confidence reporting ties Evi-Crypto to cryptocurrency theft activity and initial victim interaction through social-engineering lures. The available evidence supports classification as a crypto-drainer MaaS ecosystem, but does not directly establish ransomware or extortion operations. No high-confidence country of origin or specific victim-country concentration is currently available.
