DUNLOADER is a custom loader used by the Earth Kurma cyberespionage group to maintain persistence and execute follow-on payloads in memory. It can retrieve payloads from configured locations, decode them using single-byte XOR operations, and execute the resulting code. Earth Kurma used DUNLOADER alongside TESDAT and DMLOADER to deploy components including Cobalt Strike beacons and kernel-mode rootkits. Earth Kurma has targeted government and telecommunications organizations in Southeast Asia, including organizations in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Custom loader used for persistence and deployment of additional payloads.
Loader used for in-memory payload execution and delivery of follow-on implants (including Cobalt Strike beacons), supporting persistence and cloud-based exfiltration workflows.
Loader used for persistence and in-memory execution of next-stage payloads (e.g., Cobalt Strike beacons, rootkits, and exfiltration malware).
DUNLOADER is a DLL loader used by Earth Kurma to load and execute payloads in memory, typically Cobalt Strike beacons. It checks for execution by rundll32.exe and decodes payloads from files or resources.
