XiebroC2 is an open-source, Go-based command-and-control framework whose implant functions as a multi-platform backdoor on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It collects host-identification information and connects to attacker-controlled infrastructure to receive and execute commands. Supported functions include reverse shells, file and process management, network monitoring, reverse proxying, and screenshot capture. XiebroC2 has been deployed after compromise of internet-exposed Microsoft SQL Server systems with weak or vulnerable credentials, including cases where attackers used PowerShell to download and execute the framework following privilege escalation with JuicyPotato. Its functionality is comparable to general-purpose post-exploitation frameworks such as Cobalt Strike.

XiebroC2 is an open-source command-and-control framework that supports information collection, remote control, and defense evasion, similar to Cobalt Strike. It is used by attackers to maintain persistent access to compromised systems, particularly via vulnerable Microsoft SQL servers.
Open-source command-and-control framework with a Go-based implant supporting Windows/Linux/macOS. Provides remote control capabilities including reverse shell, file/process management, network monitoring, reverse proxying, screenshot capture, host reconnaissance (PID/HWID/computer name/username), and C2 communications (e.g., reverse WebSocket sessions) with AES key configuration.
