torchtriton is a malicious package uploaded to PyPI, masquerading as a legitimate dependency, used to exfiltrate sensitive data from machine learning environments.
A malicious PyPI package deployed through a dependency-confusion attack against PyTorch nightly installations. Its embedded triton binary collected host, user, environment, DNS, and potentially sensitive file data, then exfiltrated it using DNS tunneling to h4ck[.]cfd via wheezy[.]io. Execution required an explicit import of the triton package.
