The U.S. Navy has issued a new request for prototype projects to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division’s Single Design Four Enclave Network Consolidation Initiative, also referred to as the 1/4 Initiative. The effort is intended to replace NSWC Corona’s fragmented multi-Authority to Operate environment with a unified four-environment architecture, reducing redundancy and sustainment costs while strengthening cybersecurity and modernizing the division’s IT and data foundation.
The solicitation is being run through the LETHALITY Consortium, which is managed by Advanced Technology International under an other transaction agreement awarded earlier in 2026, and only consortium members are eligible to respond. Navy officials said the consolidation supports broader Pentagon and service modernization priorities, including zero trust, enterprise data strategy objectives, and data mesh or fabric approaches designed to enable advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning across the organization.
