CVE-2004-0104 is a set of multiple format string vulnerabilities in the Metamail package (Metamail 2.7 and earlier). By supplying specially crafted email content that reaches vulnerable formatting calls, a remote attacker can trigger uncontrolled format string evaluation, which can lead to memory corruption and potentially arbitrary code execution in the context of the user running Metamail (or the invoking mail-handling application).
