The addUser function in UserManager.java in Free Web Chat 2.0 does not properly handle cases where the usrName variable is null. This allows remote attackers to trigger an uncaught NullPointerException, resulting in a denial of service condition. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation before using the usrName variable.
