FlatNuke 2.5.3 improperly writes attacker-controlled HTTP Referer header content into a PHP script without neutralizing PHP syntax. An attacker can inject PHP code through the header and subsequently request the generated script, causing the PHP interpreter to execute the injected code. This is static code injection (CWE-96).
