CVE-2005-2277 is a command injection vulnerability in the Bluetooth FTP client (BTFTP) component of Nokia Affix 2.1.2 and 3.2.0. The flaw is triggered when shell metacharacters are included in the filename argument of a PUT command and are insufficiently sanitized before being passed to a shell or shell-interpreted command context. As a result, an attacker can cause unintended command execution on the affected system. The issue affects systems using the vulnerable BTFTP client implementation and can be exploited remotely through crafted PUT operations.
