dotProject 2.0.1 and earlier contains multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities when PHP register_globals is enabled. An unauthenticated remote attacker may supply a malicious baseDir parameter to several application scripts, or a dPconfig[root_dir] parameter to Gantt and file-related scripts, causing inclusion of attacker-controlled remote content and arbitrary command execution. The vendor disputed the issue, noting that product documentation recommends disabling register_globals and that its configuration-checking script warns when the setting is enabled.
