CVE-2006-3295 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in Open Guestbook 0.5. The flaw is present in header.php, which fails to properly neutralize user-supplied input from the title parameter before including it in web page output. An attacker can supply crafted HTML or script content in that parameter and cause it to be rendered and executed in a victim's browser within the security context of the vulnerable application. Available context also indicates a weakness chain in which a library file can be directly requested, contributing to exposure of the reflected XSS condition.
