A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the DoModal function of the Dialog Wrapper Module ActiveX control (DlgWrapper.dll) prior to version 8.4.166.0, as used by ICONICS OPC Enabled Gauge, Switch, and Vessel ActiveX controls. The vulnerability is triggered by supplying an overly long value to the FileName or Filter arguments, allowing an attacker to overwrite the stack and potentially execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the control.
