CVE-2007-1070 is a set of multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities in Trend Micro ServerProtect for Windows and EMC 5.58, and for Network Appliance Filer 5.61 and 5.62. The flaws are reachable through crafted RPC requests processed by TmRpcSrv.dll and are triggered when the service calls vulnerable routines including CMON_NetTestConnection, CMON_ActiveUpdate, and CMON_ActiveRollback in StCommon.dll, as well as ENG_SetRealTimeScanConfigInfo and ENG_SendEMail in eng50.dll. The available context specifically notes that ENG_SendEMail() can be overflowed by a specially crafted RPC packet. Successful exploitation can allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the affected service.

This repository contains a single Metasploit exploit module targeting a buffer overflow vulnerability in Trend Micro ServerProtect 5.58 Build 1060 (CVE-2007-1070). The exploit works by sending a specially crafted DCERPC request to the ServerProtect RPC service, typically running on TCP port 5168. The module allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges if successful. The code is written in Ruby and leverages the Metasploit framework's DCERPC and payload handling capabilities. The main entry point is the exploit method, which constructs and sends the malicious payload. The module is operational and can be used to deliver custom Metasploit payloads to vulnerable targets.
