CVE-2007-1371 describes multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities in Conquest 8.2a and earlier. The vulnerabilities exist in the handling of server entries received from a metaserver, specifically in the metaGetServerList function, where long server entries can cause buffer overflows. Additionally, remote metaservers can exploit this to execute arbitrary code. There are also vulnerabilities related to exceeding the configured number of metaservers and to the handling of SP_CLIENTSTAT packets with crafted unum or snum values, which can lead to memory corruption. These issues are distinct from those described in CVE-2003-0933.
