A directory traversal vulnerability exists in bbcode_ref.php in the Giorgio Ciranni Splatt Forum 4.0 RC1 module for PHP-Nuke. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences (..) in the 'name' parameter. This can be exploited, for example, by injecting PHP code into an Apache log file and then including that file through the vulnerable script.
