CVE-2007-2795 describes two buffer overflow vulnerabilities in Ipswitch IMail before version 2006.21. The first is a heap corruption vulnerability in the authentication feature of IMailsec.dll, which can be triggered by remote attackers or authenticated users, leading to arbitrary code execution in the IMail Server. The second is a stack-based buffer overflow in the IMAP Daemon, triggered by sending a long SUBSCRIBE IMAP command, also allowing for arbitrary code execution.
