Multiple buffer overflows affect certain ActiveX controls in Zenturi ProgramChecker's sasatl.dll. The flaws are associated with the DebugMsgLog and DoFileProperties methods and can allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through unspecified vectors.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting a vulnerability in the Zenturi ProgramChecker ActiveX control (sasatl.dll version 1.5.0.531) on Windows. The exploit sets up a malicious HTTP server that serves a crafted HTML page. When a victim visits the page using Internet Explorer with the vulnerable ActiveX control installed, the control's DownloadFile method is abused to download and place an arbitrary executable (the attacker's payload) onto the victim's file system, typically in the Windows Startup folder. This can result in code execution on the next system reboot or user login. The module is fully weaponized, allowing the attacker to specify the payload and the destination path. The main attack vector is via a browser (Internet Explorer) and leverages a vulnerable ActiveX control. The module references CVE-2007-2987 and is designed for use within the Metasploit framework.
