CVE-2007-4375 describes a vulnerability in the DkService.exe administrative interface of Diskeeper 9 Professional, 2007 Pro Premier, and likely other versions. The service exposes a memory comparison function via RPC over TCP, which can be abused by remote attackers. Attackers can use this function to read arbitrary process memory, potentially leaking sensitive information such as module base addresses, which can be used to bypass ASLR. Additionally, supplying out-of-bounds addresses can cause the application to crash, resulting in a denial of service.
