Unreal Commander versions 0.92 build 565 and 573 are affected by multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities. When processing ZIP or RAR archives, the application fails to properly sanitize filenames containing '..' (dot dot) sequences. This allows a user-assisted remote attacker to craft an archive with malicious filenames such that, when extracted, arbitrary files can be created or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory.
