A denial of service vulnerability exists in Firefly Media Server 0.2.4 and earlier, specifically in webserver.c. Remote attackers can crash the daemon by sending a specially crafted request to the /xml-rpc endpoint. The vulnerability is triggered either by providing an empty Authorization header, causing a NULL dereference in ws_decodepassword, or by sending a header line without a ':' character, causing a NULL dereference in ws_getheaders.
