CVE-2007-6652 is a static code-injection vulnerability in XCMS 1.83 and earlier. An administrative action issues a browser redirect but continues executing server-side logic rather than terminating. A remote attacker can submit attacker-controlled content through the footer-update parameter to the administrative request handler, causing the content to be persisted in the application's executable footer resource. When that resource is subsequently processed, the injected code can execute.

A remote arbitrary-code-execution vulnerability in XCMS 1.83 and earlier. The cpie.php component redirects without terminating execution, enabling an attacker to use the testo_0 parameter in a cpie admin action to inject static code into the XCMS footer file.
