CVE-2008-0624 is a buffer overflow vulnerability in the YMP Datagrid ActiveX control (datagrid.dll) shipped with Yahoo! JukeBox 2.2.2.56 / Yahoo! Music Jukebox. The flaw is triggered by passing an overly long argument to the AddButton method exposed by the ActiveX control. When the control is instantiated by crafted HTML content in Internet Explorer, insufficient bounds checking on the supplied parameter can cause a stack-based buffer overflow, allowing attacker-controlled data to corrupt memory and redirect execution flow. The available advisory context describes this as one of multiple overflows in the control and distinguishes it from CVE-2008-0623.
