ExtremeZ-IP.exe in ExtremeZ-IP File and Print Server 5.1.2x15 and earlier contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in its Service Location Protocol (SLP) service. The vulnerability arises because the application does not verify that the 'number of URLs' field in a received packet is consistent with the actual packet length. By sending a packet with a large integer in this field to UDP port 427, a remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a crash of the daemon.
