A memory corruption vulnerability exists in the WordClient interface of Alt-N Technologies MDaemon 9.6.5, specifically due to a NULL pointer dereference triggered by a crafted HTTP POST request. This allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to crash the WorldClient process, resulting in a denial of service. The process automatically restarts, but repeated exploitation can cause persistent service disruption.
