SWAT 4 version 1.1 and earlier are vulnerable to remote denial of service due to improper handling of certain network commands. Specifically, sending a VERIFYCONTENT or GAMECONFIG command to the server before user session initialization triggers a NULL pointer dereference, causing the server daemon to crash. Additionally, sending a GAMESPYRESPONSE command with a long RS string can also crash the server, likely due to a buffer overflow or improper string handling.
