CVE-2008-5191 describes multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in SePortal 2.4. Specifically, the poll.php script is vulnerable via the 'poll_id' parameter, and staticpages.php is vulnerable via the 'sp_id' parameter. These parameters are not properly sanitized before being used in SQL queries, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (seportal_sqli_exec.rb) targeting SePortal version 2.5 and below (CVE-2008-5191). The exploit leverages a SQL injection vulnerability in 'staticpages.php' to retrieve the admin session cookie by logging in as any non-admin user. With the admin session, it uploads a malicious PHP payload via 'admin/downloads.php' and then executes it by requesting the file from 'data/down_media/'. The module is written in Ruby and uses Metasploit's HttpClient and FileDropper mixins. The exploit requires valid non-admin credentials and network access to the SePortal web application. The payload is customizable and provides remote code execution as the web server user. All endpoints are relative to the SePortal installation path, which defaults to '/seportal'.
