CVE-2008-5748 is a directory traversal vulnerability in BloofoxCMS 0.3.4, specifically in plugins/spaw2/dialogs/dialog.php. The application fails to properly restrict or neutralize user-supplied path input in the lang, theme, and module parameters. A remote attacker can supply traversal sequences in these parameters to cause the application to resolve paths outside the intended directory scope and read arbitrary files from the underlying filesystem.
