CVE-2008-5770 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in PHP Weather 2.2.2. The flaw is present in the make_config.php component under the config functionality, where attacker-controlled data from PATH_INFO is incorporated into generated web page output without proper neutralization or context-appropriate encoding. Because the application reflects this request-derived value back to the browser, a crafted request can cause arbitrary script or HTML to execute in the security context of the vulnerable application when a victim loads the malicious URL.
