CVE-2008-7090 describes multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Pligg version 9.9 and earlier. The vulnerabilities exist in trackback.php, where the $tb_url variable is not properly sanitized, allowing attackers to determine the existence of arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences. Additionally, settemplate.php is vulnerable to arbitrary file inclusion through the template parameter, which also fails to properly sanitize input, enabling attackers to include files from arbitrary locations on the server.
