CVE-2009-3658 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Sb.SuperBuddy.1 ActiveX control implemented by sb.dll in America Online (AOL) 9.5.0.1. The flaw is triggered when the control's SetSuperBuddy method processes a malformed argument, causing the control to reference memory after it has been freed. This results in memory corruption and creates a condition in which attacker-controlled input delivered through a web page can destabilize the process and potentially redirect execution flow.
