CVE-2009-4581 is a directory traversal vulnerability in RoseOnlineCMS 3 B1 and earlier in modules/admincp.php. When PHP's magic_quotes_gpc setting is disabled, the application fails to properly sanitize the admin parameter before using it in a local file inclusion context. An attacker can supply directory traversal sequences to cause the application to include unintended local files. Because the vulnerable code feeds attacker-controlled path input to PHP include() behavior, successful exploitation can result not only in unauthorized local file inclusion but also in execution of arbitrary code contained in an included local file.
