CVE-2009-4908 describes multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in oBlog. The vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via several parameters in both public and administrative interfaces. Specifically, the parameters commentName, commentEmail, commentWeb, and commentText in article.php are vulnerable, as well as article_id and title in admin/write.php, category_id and category_name in admin/groups.php, blogroll_id and title in admin/blogroll.php, and blog_name and tag_line in admin/settings.php. These flaws stem from insufficient input sanitization and output encoding.
