CVE-2010-0467 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the ccNewsletter (com_ccnewsletter) component version 1.0.5 for Joomla!. The flaw allows remote attackers to supply traversal sequences in the controller parameter during a ccnewsletter action to index.php, causing the application to resolve file paths outside the intended directory boundary. Because the input is not properly restricted or canonicalized before use in file access logic, an attacker can leverage relative path traversal to read arbitrary files accessible to the web application.
