CVE-2010-10012 is a path traversal vulnerability in httpdasm version 0.92, a lightweight Windows HTTP server. The issue allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read arbitrary files from the underlying host by sending a specially crafted HTTP GET request containing directory traversal sequences and URL-encoded backslashes. Because the server improperly restricts path resolution to the configured web root, an attacker can traverse outside the intended document directory and access files elsewhere on the filesystem.
