A directory traversal vulnerability exists in South River Technologies Titan FTP Server 8.10.1125 and likely earlier versions. The vulnerability is present in the handling of the xcrc command, where remote authenticated users can supply "..//" sequences to traverse directories and read arbitrary files or determine their size.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module (modules/auxiliary/scanner/ftp/titanftp_xcrc_traversal.rb) that exploits a directory traversal vulnerability (CVE-2010-2426) in the XCRC command of Titan FTP Server versions up to and including 8.10.1125. The module connects to a target FTP server (default port 21), logs in, and uses a brute-force approach with the XCRC command to reconstruct the contents of arbitrary files on the server's filesystem, limited to the same drive as the FTP root. The exploit does not provide code execution or privilege escalation, but enables information disclosure by reading sensitive files. The module is written in Ruby and is designed to be run within the Metasploit Framework. The only file in the repository is the exploit module itself, and it is fully operational, requiring only the target's FTP credentials and the desired file path to attempt disclosure.
