CVE-2010-2866 is an integer signedness error in the DIRAPI module of Adobe Shockwave Player versions prior to 11.5.8.612. The vulnerability is triggered by a specially crafted Director movie file containing a malformed tSAC chunk and an associated count value in an undocumented structure. This can lead to memory corruption due to improper handling of signed/unsigned integer conversions, potentially allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service.
