CVE-2010-4645 is an infinite-loop vulnerability in PHP's zend_strtod floating-point conversion routine in PHP 5.2 before 5.2.17 and PHP 5.3 before 5.3.5. On affected systems using x87 FPU behavior, conversion of a particular subnormal-range decimal floating-point value expressed in scientific notation can cause the conversion algorithm to oscillate between two representable values rather than reach its termination condition.
